The town of Danville was named after Daniel Inman who bought land in 1854 with the money they received from their Gold Rush earnings. The town was named after the town Daniel’s mother was raised in, named Danville, but in Kentucky.  What started out as a farming community turned into a residential suburb in the mid-1900’s, growing from a population of around 3,500 in the 1960’s to its current population around 42,000 people.1 The town has a few adjoining towns and cities with the Las Trampas Ridge to the west and the Diablo Range to the east.  Mount Diablo stands behind Danville, making for great photos of the area.  Some of the more notable residents of Danville include Bill Callahan, a college football coach, Chris Mullin, a retired NBA player, and Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger, who is the pilot who recently made an emergency landing of a plane in the Husdon River, saving all on the plane.

Part of the budget was allocated to the development of healthcare facilities in the state and, thus, it is predicted that the marriage counselling facilities would also benefit from this budget.4
