High school students can join the Mayor's Youth Council, where they can interact with the mayor and other city officials to discuss issues of importance to youth. The Catholic Charities of Orange County provide many family assistance and support programs to families in the Newport Coast area. Those in need of food and basic necessities have access to the essentials at the Doris Cantlay Center. The Parish Ministry program provides families with educational workshops that strengthen family bonding. Families who have immigrated to the area can find help obtaining visas, work permits and other important immigration documents.
