The prosperous city became the western end of the Pony Express and the First Transcontinental Railroad financed by the ‘Big Four’; Hopkins, Crocker, Huntington and Stanford.  Leland Stanford completed the last spike.  He also founded the world famous Stanford University in honour of this son who died at age fifteen.  After the devastating flood in 1850, a flu and cholera epidemic crippled the city for years.   Marriage Counseling Sacramento is an important process for marriages facing difficulty.
