Englewood citizens are generally well educated, with about one-third completing a bachelor's degree or higher. Parents of children with developmental disabilities can find a number of services to help their child integrate into their community through the Denver Metro Community Parent Resource Center. Parents are paired with a mentor who can help guide them through the unique challenges of parenting a disabled child. Outreach programs seek to inform underserved families about the various resources that are available to them. Additionally, the center seeks to raise awareness of issues facing children with developmental disabilities through community outreach and advocacy.
