Located along the northern seaboard of the Atlantic, Deltona has around 85,000 residents, and is situated between Daytona Beach and Orlando. The city sponsors a Saturday morning public market, where vendors sell fresh vegetables, fruits, plants, and flowers. The city also sponsors a Friday movie night at the Harris M. Saxon Community Center, which is great fun for the entire family.1 Of course, there is always the option of joining the community for Music in the Courtyard, which is a musical performance held at City Hall, featuring a live music. This is a free event, where anyone can enjoy a relaxing time on the courtyard lawn listening to some great music. Visiting the local museums is also a treat for the whole family, such as the Deland Museum of Art, Gillespie Museum of Minerals, museum of Seminole County History, and the Delton Arts & Historical Society. The Deltona Arts & Historical Society offers music lessons, art classes, an art gallery and a place to record your music!
