Idaho Falls is the largest city in the eastern half of the state and a virtual mecca of family friendly fun. The whole gang will want to be sure to catch the African penguins, peacocks and other wildlife at the Tautphaus Zoo. Home to over 400 species of animals and a number of kid friendly attractions, everyone is sure to have a great time.1 Or, mothers will adore taking the children to see a show at the renovated 1890s style Colonial Theatre. For a day of outdoor recreation, pack a picnic lunch and spend the day at Eagle Pointe Park. Or, if you'd rather stay indoors, go see a show at Movie World. Fathers will have a blast with their teenagers and younger children at Blast Off, a family entertainment center featuring mini golf, arcade games, playgrounds and indoor rock climbing. Inside or out, the whole lot of you will have a great time in Idaho Falls.
