We have soft music playing and just begin to talk about the areas of interest that have brought them in. From that first session, I determine what is wrong and what needs to happen in order to facilitate the change my clients are hoping for. As a matter of fact, I write out two goals for each client from what they've talked about, each with 3 or 4 objectives to reach those goals!
