Brantford is southwest of Ontario with an approximate population of around 90,000. The city is located on the Grand River and sometimes referred to as the Telephone City since a famous former resident invented the telephone - Alexander Graham Bell. The Neutral Nation, Attawandaron, occupied this area during the 17th century. The settlement was destroyed when the Iroquois declared war in 1650, exterminating the Neutral Nation.
