Guelph is located in the southwestern portion of Ontario is one of the most desirable cities in Canada due to its low crime and clean environment, making it a great location for families with children and teenagers. With the many different rivers and tributaries, this has created large tracts of densely forested ravines, which is great for parks (like Exhibition, which is the oldest in the city), recreational trails, and outdoors family activities. For families interested in an educational attraction that is great for children, visit the Guelph Civic Museum, located downtown, containing films, and other antiquities that are related to the historic development of the city.
