About Saskatoon, SK

Saskatoon is at the banks of the south Saskatchewan River, centrally located in the Province of Saskatchewan.  The 100th birthday was celebrated in 2006.  Seven bridges interconnect the city with a multitude of riverbank parkland.  Being one of the sunniest cities in Canada with four glorious seasons, it hosts a population of nearly 208,000 residents.  “Saskatoon” is named after a Cree Indian word for a local berry.  Saskatoon counseling is a collaborative process whose goal is to restore individuals and families to positive growth. The area is known for its rugged natural beauty and draws many outdoor enthusiasts year round. Recreationally, this is a popular destination for travellers throughout and outside of Canada.

The University of Saskatchewan is home of all five health science colleges and a major teaching hospital. There is a large population here along with several different faiths, the most popular being Christian.  Counselling Saskatoon provides a values based and safe therapeutic environment for lasting change.  Innovation Place is a very successful research park in North America where some of the initial experiments undertaken aboard the space shuttle were conducted. On the grounds is situated The Diefenbaker Canada Centre with the only Prime Ministerial archives, museum and research centre in Canada.
