As part of the initiative, a coordinated system of entry and assessment has been established to ensure families have a convenient and standardized method of finding resources they need as quickly as possible. Additionally, the initiative established family-based supports so that each individual family receives the proper services in an expeditious manner, thus increasing the likelihood of maintaining housing stability and self-sufficiency.
