Low-income families with young children can take part in Washington's Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) in order to best prepare their children for success in school and prepare the family for optimal functioning. Free services address academic, intellectual, social and family issues that may act as a barrier to success. Parenting classes are offered, and information about nutrition and child development is available as well.
