Please note the following pages do not qualify for discounts:
A "links page" or "resource page", or any page on your website that is dedicated to other links. These pages are low value, and the least visted page on any website, as a result we no longer give discounts for links on those types of pages. We also do not give discounts on pages that are not linked off your main menu.
These website pages do qualify for link discounts:
Any page on your site that that is on your main menu, as well as your website homepage.
By linking to us, this is the best way to save on your membership. If you need help placing a link, we will do it quickly and free. If you are considering a homepage link, let us put your concerns at ease. Links to us are simple text links, usually only 2-3 words and are always placed in a manner that is discreet and non-interferring with your website. Additionally, because you are linking to a well respected site, having a link to us also helps you as it adds credibility to your practice and confidence to clients in the quality of care they will be receiving with you.
But Isn't Linking To Theravive Anti-Competitive?
Absolutely not. In fact, it has the oppositte effect. A potential client who is hesitant about the credentials, quality, validity, or professionalism of a Therapist who sees they have an affiliation with a well established and well respected network of therapists at once feels safer and more secure in reaching out. For example, if you need your car fixed, and are on a website for a mechanic, and you see a link on the homepage that says "I Am A Verified Member of Ethics And Excellence In Mechanics" ...does that make you feel like leaving and going somewhere else (i.e. anti-competitive)....or does it make you feel safer about your selection of a mechanic? Well of course, we know the answer. You feel safer that you chose a good mechanic!
If your therapist website does not link to any well respected therapist network at all, you may actually be doing yourself a dis-service. Whether it is to Theravive, or Psychology Today, or another source, having a link to a respected external Therapist network is good for your website. Its good for your Google rankings, and for your clients as well.
Here are a couple examples of customers who have homepage links to us. http://www.johnreininger.com/ Our link is on the left side under the text 'Counseling Fort Lauderdale'. Here is another one:http://www.phyllischase.com/This one is at the bottom of the page, and says "Counseling Beverly Hills ". A simple link on your website is a great way to save money on your membership. We work with therapists to ensure the link is unobtrusive and in no way disrupts the theme of the website. In fact, some therapists use text to surround the link to change it into an announcement of affiliation. For example see this link: http://www.therapeacecounselingcenter.com/ Whether or not you want to place comments around a link (i.e. Member of Theravive _____(link)_____ Network, etc.) is entirely up to you.
Links can go anywhere on your page, except in the footer or beneath the copyright, and must be the same size font as other text on the page.
Links help us by promoting our services. Having an active presence among the therapist community not only helps therapists by associating with a well respected therapist network, but it also helps us by spreading the word about us. As a result, we are pleased to offer great discounts for basic links.
