My goal in working with clients - and my hope for everyone - is that we create fulfilling lives for ourselves and meaningful relationships with our partners, family, and friends.  When we feel overwhelmed by the complexities of life or stuck in taking the next step toward our potential, we may need some outside support to help us find our way.  As a psychotherapist and counsellor, I support individuals and couples through the confusion towards clarity and growth. I strive to create a genuine atmosphere of warmth and support for my clients no matter what challenge or goal they bring to counselling.

In my practice, my special areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, relationship difficulties, low self esteem, and life transitions (e.g., separation/divorce, job loss, aging parents). My professional training includes a Honours BA in Psychology from the University of Waterloo (1988) and a MA in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University.  I am also a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).  In addition to my autonomous practice, I offer psychological services under the supervision of Dr. Leigh Karos, C. Psych.”

Choosing a counsellor is a personal and important choice so please take time to review this information and contact me with any questions you might have. Counselling is my passion in life and it would be my privilege to walk your journey with you.
