A Little About Caelin:

My clients tell me that they feel very safe in my presence, that they feel heard and understood, and that the work we do together brings substantial improvement to their quality of life.  The best therapy is a joint learning process.  It is you and I work together to learn about who you are and what you need to resolve your situation.
 
While education and credentials are essential, they cannot give one the feel for doing good therapy.  That is why I received my best training in the therapy room as a client-turned-therapist.  The work that I have done in my personal healing and growth enables me to to walk with my clients with both compassion and a level of confidence that comes from the first hand experience of climbing out of the depths.  I have had the pleasure of expanding on my personal experience through years spent learning with and helping clients like you.  It is the joint experience of receiving and giving that makes me who I am as a therapist today.
 
I am 42 and started in private practice in 2009. I am licensed in Mississippi (#1716) and received my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson, MS).
 
Outside of the therapy room I have many interests, including parenting my son, Irish dance, rollerblading, art, kayaking and cooking. I love learning, especially learning about how things, people, and cultures work.  I love being outside and spending time with friends and family.
