Current Initiatives

Welcome Home Billings is a city-wide initiative designed to assist homeless individuals and families find suitable long-term housing. The initiative focuses on intervention and prevention programs that keep at-risk families in their homes, as the cost for public services for the homeless population costs the city millions of dollars each year. By developing partnerships with social service agencies throughout the city, the initiative makes resources more readily available to families at risk of losing their homes. And since many of Billings' homeless suffer from a mental illness or substance abuse issue, making quality mental health care readily available is also important. To learn more about this initiative, call 406-657-8281.5
