With 30 years of experience to guide her, Kristin Rosenthal offers compassionate, caring and confidential help for people who are struggling with a problem in their relationships, life or family.

She has extensive training in EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. She understands the underlying issues of safety and a need for connectedness and belonging which underlie many relationship problems.

She earned her Master's in Counseling in 1982 at the University of Northern Colorado, and has worked in private practice since 1993. She also has worked in several residential treatment centers, and in community mental health.

Currently she supervises Residents in Counseling and in Marriage and Family as they earn their hours toward licensure. This allows MVFTA to offer sliding scale services with the Residents.
