I'm 61 years old; happily married for 22 years; and a grateful father of a 16-year-old daughter. I grew up in western Kansas and have lived in the Kansas City area since 1983. I'm a Vietnam veteran. I received my Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Kansas in 1991. I am licensed in Kansas and Missouri at the highest levels for social work practice. I've been a mental health provider for 20 years specializing in addiction and dual diagnosis syndromes. I have experience in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings providing individual, couples, marital, family, and group counseling. I also perform SAP evaluations per regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation and function as the Northwest regional coordinator for the Missouri Physicians' Health Program.
