I have been in practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor for over twenty years. I am also a certified Substance Abuse Professional. I have taught Psycholgy and Sociology classes at the University level. My experience includes individual, family and group counseling in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, crisis, grief, abuse, self esteem, and difficult relationships.
My approach to counseling is holistic, meaning I draw from various trainings and approaches that depend on your unique situation. These would include but not limited to cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, brief therapy, narrative, transactional and person centered.
