Are you struggling with relationship problems?  I can help you find the strength, direction, and healing to create the thriving relationship that you deserve.

Some of my specialties include:

Relationship Counseling for One
If your partner is unable or unwilling to come to couples therapy with you, I am trained to help you alone learn how to bring positive changes to your relationship.  Unlike an individual therapist, I am able to listen for relationship dynamics by only talking with one person.  I can help you understand how to make changes without nagging or arguing with your partner.

Premarital Counseling
Give your marriage the best possible chance for success by making sure you and your fiancé are talking about everything that will be important for a successful future.  Also, address any budding or current problems, or determine if they can be resolved, before you walk down the aisle. Consider this a gift that you give to yourself, your partner, and your future together.

Discernment Counseling
Are you or your partner considering divorce, and the other one of you wants to save the marriage? This specialized form of counseling is designed to help both of you gain clarity and confidence about the direction of your marriage and decide if you will embark on the journey of couples therapy or go ahead and divorce.

Divorce Support and Recovery
Whatever stage of divorce you are in, I can help you deal with the emotions that come with the ending of a marriage.  This can involve being able to cope with a frustrating spouse who is making the divorce process difficult or recovering your spirit and self-worth as you learn to move forward and heal.

 About me

I received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tulane University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in various mental health settings, including outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, residential, in-home, and hospice care settings. Each of these experiences has brought valuable knowledge, understanding, and compassion to the work I do with clients now. I have worked specifically with relationship issues for over 12 years.
