Alice is a Licensed Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick. She works with individuals and couples, adults and teens, addressing depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship issues, life changes, and pain management. She also offers learning disability and ADHD assessments for adults.
Her favourite topic of discussion is dreams, which provide unique metaphors to guide therapy. She is adept at helping you find the gift in your nightmares. She believes that through nightmare, the subconscious mind turns up the volume of dream messages until we finally hear, remember, and act.
Alice offers “Flying Lessons for the Soul.” She says, "I once dreamed that people were like fish in a fish bowl. Bottom feeders, they were unaware that they could swim in the entire bowl, and oblivious to the fact that people are not limited to a bowl at all! I help people see beyond their “fish bowl,” and teach them to spread their wings and fly."
How can you learn to fly?
“Flying Lessons for the Soul” include the following concepts and skills:
- Flight plan - Where are you now, and where do you want to go in your life? (i.e. developing the vision.)
- Check out your plan(e) -Reality check - What is possible? Fuel up for the journey (i.e. finding your passion). Experience the magnificence of your soul.
- What prevents lift-off? What stops you? Identify and address limiting beliefs.
- Then with engines revving for flight, access the “Control Tower” of your dreams for information which you may not recognize in your waking life.
Alice has degrees in theology (Acadia University) and psychology (University of New Brunswick). She is married with two grown children.
