People of all ages and stages deserve to have someone listen to them and provide professional, real, and empathetic guidance and support. I provide psychotherapy to children, youth, and adults and have been working in my field for about five years. I recently transitioned to an e counselling practice in order to provide flexible options for people seeking help. Appointments with me are available via Thera-link, Skype, or over the phone. Please let me know if you are interested in booking an appointment or if you have any questions about e counselling.

I've been working with children and youth since 2012 and started my counselling career with the Near North District School Board in the West Parry Sound District. I transitioned to working at New Path Youth and Family Services in Barrie in 2013 as a Counsellor. This position enabled me to work with youth and their families to support them through relationship challenges and other barriers. Since moving to Barrie, I've worked with many parents and individual adults in my previous and enjoy the variety of ages and stages of clients I've been honoured to work with. I've worked with children, youth, and individual adults to help them overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, communication, stress management, organization and planning, learning disabilities, mood dis-regulation, sibling conflict, and phobias for example. If you have questions for me about your needs and would like to know if I am able to help you or your family, please email or give me a call. If we decide that your needs are better suited to another therapist, I will gladly refer you to one of my colleagues.

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). I completed my undergraduate degree, a BSc in Psychology from Nipissing University, in 2008. Then came to Barrie to for the Research Analyst Program, achieving a Post-Graduate Certificate from Georgian College. Counselling has been a passion of mine since starting my degree in North Bay, so in 2010 I decided to pursue a Masters degree. In 2012 I completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. To date I have been trained in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and have certificates in Triple P Positive Parenting and Collaborative Problem Solving.
