Bob employs an integrative/holistic approach to counseling and coaching that helps
his clients achieve balance and harmony in relationships, work, and the
spiritual aspect of being human. He is experienced in working with clients on
life purpose, calling, and career; relationship and marriage; wellness; addiction and
recovery; codependency;
adult ADD; loss and bereavement; and spiritual growth and crisis.
Helping clients actualize their full potential is Bob’s gift. He draws upon his own varied life experiences to
accomplish this. Before entering the counseling field Bob directed training, career development, and organization
development for three large public agencies; led comedy troupes and
professional bands; created award-winning
local comedy videos; and published his essays and cartoons in
regional periodicals.
Bob earned his M.S. from
American University
in collaboration with the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral
Science.
He also earned an M.A. in Applied Healing Arts with a concentration in
Spiritual Care from the Tai
Sophia Institute, where he is now a faculty
member. Bob is doing additional graduate work in Pastoral Counseling
at Loyola University Maryland. He
is a CCUI-certified coach and trainer of coaches, a certified Imago
Relationship
Educator, and was trained in loss and bereavement counseling at the Wendt Center for Loss &
Healing. He is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Association for Imago Relationship
Therapists, the National Career
Development Association, Spiritual Directors
International, and the
International Center for Spirit at
Work.
