Have You Ever Said  To Yourself...
  • My marriage isn't going as well as it used to.
  • I am so tired of fighting.
  • I've had enough. I'm done with this.
  • It's hard to see any other way.
  • I just feel stuck

Here's What I've Learned...

  • From time to time we each wonder how to handle our relationships  effectively.
  • Life's events often happen without warning.
  • It's important to look at the big picture.
  • Sometimes it takes another person to help us realize our options.

How I May Help...
  • Provide new perspectives and strategies to move forward
  • Assist in focusing on the goals you want to achieve
  • Encourage and equip you to fight the problem instead of fighting each other

Meet Cheryl
Although the process of becoming a counselor did not follow the time line I had intended, it clearly was the one that has caused much personal growth, enabling me to be most effective. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology in 1975 from Olivet Nazarene University, and a Masters of Arts in Guidance and Counseling in 2003 from Bowling Green State University.
Being a wife and mother was the primary focus during the 26 years between my undergraduate and grad school days. Marriage, raising children, multiple relocations, dealing with terminal illness in my family, caring for elderly parents, and job losses were some of the lessons learned best through life experience!

I am an  Ohio licensed Professional Clinical Counselor #E0007948, member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and International Board of Christian Counselors. I am certified as a Professional  Life Coach (AACC), Advanced Splankna Practitioner and Professional Clinicial Christian Counselor (IBCC). I have completed the Sexual Addictions Certificate program through the AACC.
