I am a Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling from Liberty University and am an active member with the American Association of Christian Counselors.  I am dedicated to providing sound biblical counseling and psychotherapy services that include seeking to achieve a lasting transformation of the heart, mind and soul.

Who I work with:

  • Couples
  • Adults
  • Youth
  • Families

Settings I work in:
  • One-on-one settings
  • Group settings
  • Workshop formats

I work with varying degrees of challenges and concerns people are faced with such as dealing with life transitions, anxiety, depression, or grief and loss.  I provide pre-marital/pre-engagement counseling along with Christ centered marriage mentoring. I offer marriage enrichment and communication improvement along with divorce avoidance and divorce recovery counseling.  I also work with men’s groups for both divorced and married men leading in personal and spiritual development and accountability.  Along with adults and couples, I work with youth on an individual and group basis dealing with test and other anxiety concerns, anger issues, family stress, discipleship, self-esteem, adjustment issues, and other life challenges.

I am married to my wife, Jamie and together we have three daughters.  We have lived in Fort Mill, SC and have been active members of First Baptist Fort Mill for over the past 10 years.  I have served on the deacon board, as a high school Discipleship group leader, a youth life class teacher and am currently on the praise team.  I enjoy singing, hiking, mountain biking and spending time with my family.

I am Crisis Intervention trained and am also available for speaking engagements and training seminars.

My belief is that by being in a relationship with God through Jesus, we can experience joy in spite of circumstances, we can have peace that surpasses all understanding, we can have the ability to enter into His rest, and we can find relief from our burdens.  I strongly desire for people to be able to achieve the abundant life that Jesus had come to provide (John 10:10b).
