Chris Stravitsch is the Executive Director and Founder of Rejoice Counseling Apostolate. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He earned a dual degree in Pastoral Counseling from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, which consisted of a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy (2006) and M.A. in Pastoral Ministry (2007). While studying at Texas A&M University he earned a B.A. in Psychology (2003). He is currently a Doctor of Ministry Candidate at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., where he has focused his research on the spiritual formation of couples and families.

Chris oversees the counseling services that Rejoice Counseling Apostolate provides to Catholic parishes and the general public throughout the Greater Houston area and San Antonio. He offers pastoral counseling services onsite at multiple churches, along with the other counselors from Rejoice.
Chris regularly speaks and publishes on the topics of marriage, family, and spirituality. His articles have been featured in Lay Witness, Homiletic and Pastoral Review, New Oxford Review, Saint Austin Review, Life News, Life Site News, the USCCB’s marriage apostolate website For Your Marriage, The Cord: A Franciscan Spiritual Review, Fellowship of Catholic Scholars Quarterly, Truth and Charity Forum, Chicago Studies, diocesan newspapers, and more.
