Welcome
As a professional counsellor and therapist, Ian works together with clients from all backgrounds, to help them explore relationships, thoughts, feelings, or behaviours, which trouble them and cause difficulty in their life. Through the therapeutic process, clients can achieve deeper personal insight and awareness, better ways of understanding and coping with problems, increased feelings of well-being, and improved relationships and life satisfaction. Using a variety of scientifically based therapeutic approaches he has an excellent rate of success overall in helping his clients. A study showed that 94% of his clients reported positive results. Client's are often provided with handouts, recommendations to acquire specific books, and given exercises, which enable many to achieve a significant amount of progress outside of session. This approach can be quite cost effective as well. Ian has the education, training, and experience in successfully working with individuals and couples in many areas of practice.
