Counselling & Therapy
As a professional counsellor and therapist, Ian enjoys working together with clients from all backgrounds, to help them explore relationships, thoughts, feelings, or behaviours, which trouble them and cause difficulty in their life. Through this therapeutic process, clients can achieve deeper personal insight and awareness, better ways of understanding and coping with problems, increased feelings of well-being, and improved relationships and life satisfaction. Using a variety of mostly scientifically based therapeutic approaches, he has a high rate of success overall in helping his clients. Client's are often provided with handouts, recommendations to acquire specific books, and given exercises, which enable many to achieve a significant amount of progress outside of session. This approach can be quite cost effective as well. Ian has experience in working with adults in many areas of practice.
