Welcome! Congratulations on making the first step towards a better you. I
realize that asking for help may be difficult and it is important to me
to make this process as smooth as possible for you.
Therapy is a collaborative process. I
believe that everyone has the innate capacity for personal growth. I
help individuals foster a healthier understanding of themselves and
their emotional world. It is my job to assist in creating a place of
peace, love and acceptance.
Counseling offers us the opportunity to identify the factors that
contribute to difficulties and to deal effectively with the
psychological, behavioral, interpersonal and situational causes of those
difficulties. Some of the most common issues for which individuals come
to counseling include:

- Sleep Concerns (ie. Nightmares, Poor Sleep Habits, Sleeping Too Little or Too Much)
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Regis University. In
addition, I am currently getting certificates in counseling children and
adolescents, marriage and family therapy and counseling military
families. I also hold two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University
of Northern Colorado: one in psychology and the other in sociology with
an emphasis in family studies. I have served on staff at various
counseling agencies as a counselor where I provided counseling services
and support to individuals with a variety of mental health concerns
including developmental disabilities.
