Joanne has a Master's Degree in Social Work and more than 16 years of clinical experience counselling individuals and couples, men and women, adults, adolescents and children – many with highly complex struggles. She is also a Reiki Master and Energy Healer. Her fundamental belief is that clients are the experts on their own internal states and that a counsellor’s role is to help facilitate the healing process. Joanne uses a variety of approaches to assist clients to resolve issues from the past and present gently and 
quickly. She has received training in:
- Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
