dedicated counselling services
to Couples and Individuals in Maple Ridge, Langley and the Tri-Cities area.
I am also"BRIDGE THE GAP" friendly, meaning I will cover the cost of bridge tolls for Langley residents.

changes in your life and your relationships. I can also provide
specialized help in the treatment of panic and anxiety disorder.
Counselling can help you find answers and provide coping skills to bring about positive changes in your life.
For couples
I work from the Gottman method of marriage counselling. This is a wonderful way to improve all areas of you marriage and provide lasting change.
For individuals
I work from a variety of methods depending on the individual. I also use Hakomi body centered psychotherapy which I find very effective in helping facilitate significant and lasting positive change.

Philosophy :
Counselling can be many things.
-
It can be a brief education and skill building experience or it can be a journey of self discovery, growth and healing.
-
I
believe counselling should be an active experience. This may involve
challenges and looking at different things, as well as looking at
things in a different way.
-
I strive to
create a warm positive caring environment and relationship with my
clients which I believe is at the core of helping and healing.
Bio :
A married 41 year old father of 2 boys, I achieve a work / life
balance by being self employed through my own private practice as well
as collaborating with other counsellors in my area, and volunteering
with various community based agencies.
I graduated from Vancouver Community College in 1999 and have also
trained in working with Shock Trauma, Hakomi Body Centered Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and many other techniques. I am also trained in the use of Gottman Marital Therapy for couples. I continue to actively increase my
