  • Achieve positive changes in relationships
  • Provide education and coping skills
  • Improve communication with others
  • Better deal with day to day stress and conflict
  • Help with parenting issues
  • Improve blended family concerns
  • Overcome panic and anxiety

Philosophy :

Counselling can be many things.

  • It can be a brief education and skill building experience or it can be a journey of self discovery, growth and healing.

  • I believe counselling should be an active experience. This may involve challenges and looking at different things, as well as looking at things in a different way.

  • I strive to create a warm positive caring environment and relationship with my clients which I believe is at the core of helping and healing.

Bio :

A married 40 year old father of 2 boys, I achieve a work / life balance by being self employed through my own private practice as well as collaborating with other counsellors in my area, and volunteering with various community based agencies.

I graduated from Vancouver Community College in 1999 and have also trained in working with shock trauma and the cognitive treatment of anxiety and panic disorders. I continue to actively increase my education with classes and workshops.

I have volunteered at the Tri - City Crisis line and worked with the Secure Organization through Burnaby psychiatric services. I now run a private practice in the Tri-Cities and Maple Ridge area.

I deeply care about my clients and strive to provide the understanding to assist my clients to better their own lives.
