Online Skype Psychotherapy Provided.
If you're struggling with mental health issues, know that it's more common than you may think, and there's help. Receive the benefits of therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home via Skype or phone.  Many have found it to be an accessible, convenient, and discrete alternative to traditional in-office therapy.   Online psychotherapy such as Skype™ is increasingly becoming the therapy format of choice for people with demanding and inflexible schedules or family commitments. It can be the solution when competing demands constantly create obstacles that challenge your attempts to resolve psychological, emotional, or interpersonal problems such as anxiety, depression, panic, low self-esteem, and stress. At times, trying to schedule and attend regular sessions with your therapist can add to stress and anxiety, as you attempt to juggle numerous responsibilities and demands with limited time. I understand all these challenges. Online Skype™ therapy is an efficient and less stressful method of accessing quality help and achieving the same end results.   Advantages of Skype™
  • Allows clients to choose from a greater pool of therapists and specialties, and to select someone who they determine is the best fit for their needs.
  • Eliminates the discomfort of going to an office waiting room, where some clients fear they may see friends, neighbors, colleagues, or perhaps clients/customers they serve in their professional work.
  • Provides convenience and privacy of having sessions in the comfort of home, and therefore eliminates extra driving.
  • Creates a wider, more flexible choice of appointment times.Increases the accessibility of psychotherapy to underserved populations (e.g., the elderly, post-partum mothers, individuals who are physically disabled), by providing sessions at home, or in a hospital or care facilities.
  • Barriers such as geographical remoteness and issues of mobility caused by disability, injury, hospitalization, or illness are removed.
  • Saves time and money that would otherwise be spent to cover expenses such as gas, parking, or childcare.
I currently work extensively with, and have a keen interest in, helping adults who suffer from trauma (e.g., exposure to violence, motor vehicle accidents (MVA), natural disasters, war/conflict, or other threats to life); anxiety (e.g., Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder (PD), and Social Anxiety Disorder); depression; and sleep disturbances.   In addition, I am an approved provider for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and Citizens Immigration Canada (CIC) and can provide office or Skype therapy and direct billing.    I am also knowledgeable and skilled in treating a wide range of mental health issues. Therapy can help you create meaningful change in your life and get support when you need it.  Overcome the emotional obstacles and psychological pain that is blocking you from attaining the sense of wellbeing you deserve.
