Thanks for clicking my profile!

I will work diligently to assist you in identifying the goals that you envision, the strengths that you want to uncover, and the resilience that is already inside of you.  I assist couples and individual adults as a professional resource outside of their usual support system, where they are the center and focus, and where judgment is not present.

As a skilled psychotherapist, career and life coach, I maximize my clients’ time and help them develop balance in their personal and professional lives.  I have trained with the wonderful and brilliant professionals in my field to bring you cutting-edge information that can change your life!

Working with me includes email support outside of your session at no additional fee. Research supports that change requires regular exposure to positive; change-based messages. My clients send me emails or text updates outside of sessions. This allows them to maximize their outcomes because they have support when need it.  It is essential to keep it fresh in your mind which you want to change and in order to do that, you need regular exposure to change-based information and support.

My background includes over 25 years of combined experience in psychotherapy, education, coaching, and business, in which I draw from.  As a guest lecturer at Western Connecticut State University (WCSU),  I have provided essential mental health training to current and future teachers, in addition to having worked with the Western Connection Program as a guest group facilitator.  Also, I am honored to have been presented with, The Ancell School of Business Award (WCSU), in regard to  the innovation and communication skills necessary to start and successfully run a business.

I also developed the concept for; The Building Resiliency to Prevent Lethal School Violence Conference; that was held at Post University on May 21, 2105. This was the first of its kind conference that brought together professionals of the mental health, education and law enforcement field.

As a member of the Connecticut Counseling Association, Public Policy and Legislation Committee (PPLC), I collaborated with others to deal with the important issues around mental health in Connecticut.

I draw inspiration from disciplines that include leadership training, career counseling, psychology, positive development, and mentoring.

My Office is Distinctive and Therapeutic

I believe part of the therapy and coaching process is having a work environment that is motivating, stylish and non-clinical, providing a higher level of service; one in which a cup of tea or coffee is offered to clients.

My office is conveniently located at 100 Danbury Road, Suite 201D, Ridgefield, CT (building is behind Union Savings Bank, Building B, on Route 35, about 15 minutes from Danbury Mall).   Nearby, there is a gentle walking path and pond that clients can take advantage of and appreciate.  There is also shopping and dining in Ridgefield's quaint downtown.

Personal Joy

I have been married for twenty-five years and have two children, one in fourth grade and a sophomore in college. I enjoy comedy, nature, the arts, travel, and films with friends and family.

I’m looking forward to connecting with you to discuss your challenges and to convey how I can support you in moving beyond these issues towards feeling your best.
