Lakeview Behavioral Health

Based on the idea of multidisciplinary care individualized to the needs of each patient, Lakeview Behavioral Health employs a blend of proven behavioral, experiential, and medication-based therapies for long-term recovery. The center provides treatment for mental health, chemical dependency, as well as dual diagnosis for adults and adolescents. The programs include inpatient services, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programming options for adolescents.

Following our paradigm of tailored care, we have many levels of care and programming tracks to address the different needs of every patient that comes to our campus. Our inpatient treatment program for both adolescents and adults has separate tracks for co-occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders (such as schizophrenia), and a detox wing for those suffering with substance abuse issues. Through our inpatient program we offer a safe, highly-structured environment that allows us to work with an individual is suffering from substance use and abuse as well as emotional and behavioral challenges. In addition to our inpatient treatment program Lakeview offers two intensive outpatient programs, which are shorter-term programs for those who do not required the extremely structured level of care provided in an inpatient setting. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) and our intensive outpatient program (IOP) offer more frequent treatment than traditional outpatient therapy, but still allow patient to slowly integrate back into their daily lives. Our PHP meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 am- 3:15 pm. Participants attend 4 to 6 groups daily depending on their particular issues and which skills based groups are appropriate for them. Our IOP program provides the least restrictive level of care offered at Lakeview. Individuals participate in 2-3 groups daily, Monday through Friday during the hours between 9 am, 12 pm, and 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm in the evening.

Once an initial assessment has been completed, our mental health professionals will evaluate individual risk factors in order to determine the most beneficial and least restrictive level of care. For those who do not meet the criteria for inpatient treatment a less restrictive level of care such as IOP (intensive outpatient treatment) or PHP (partial hospitalization programming). We strongly encourage all individuals that are considering treatment, to walk-in or schedule an assessment with one of our professional intake staff and allow them to suggest the most appropriate level of treatment. Our Intake staff is standing by around-the-clock to pre-screen the direct admissions, consult with our physicians, verify the insurance benefits for you, and as needed, arrange transportation for inpatient admissions at no additional cost to the patient or referral source.
