My approach to healing is a comprehensive journey into the self. My years of experience has helped me to develop a healthy respect for the multiple perspectives individuals hold within themselves in approaching situations, emotions, lifestyle, and life choices.
I have experience both in my practice and in academic research with issues of violence towards women and use this expertise to introduce women to the vast possibilities that await them in their lives through empowerment and self identity.
I am passionate about helping people to heal, both physically and emotionally and utilize lifestyle medicine education and techniques to treat those who suffer with anxiety and depression.
I am currently a doctoral student at Loma Linda University in Lifestyle Medicine. This program is a blending of biology and psychology to help people heal through lifestyle changes. I incorporate the philosophy and techniques into Inward Journeys. I utilize nutritional modalities to help nourish the body, massage therapy to help to de-stress (stress in very destructive to the immune system), yoga and exercise to help build core strength, and therapy to help a person heal the heart.
I look forward to helping you on your journey of healing your heart.
