As a creative and caring therapist, Lorissa walks alongside her clients in the midst of distress, braving the challenges together with them so that he or she can discover  resilience growth and  change.

Currently offering:  free  20 minute session for prospective clients to ask more involved questions about the therapy process and determine goodness of fit.

Lorissa is a strong believer in a child's ability to move toward healing and promotes playful interventions for children and families. She values guiding parents and families in the process of learning to support one another through times of challenge and emotional discomfort.

Lorissa has worked in private practice since 2006 and as a school based therapist with grades K-5 since 2007 and she is currently working toward her play therapy credential and has thousands of hours of play therapy supervision and individual and family sessions. Lorissa graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2006 and has been licensed as a professional counselor since 2009. She loves bike riding, playing piano, singing, yoga, composting, gardening, baking fresh bread and lives in Denver with her husband and beloved pets.
