About Merrill:

Merrill holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counselling (MA, MFC).  She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a certified member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She believes in life-long learning and continues to update her skills with workshops and seminars.

Merrill is listed with Manitoba Justice (Victims of Crime), Winnipeg Child and Family Services as an external provider, as well as several Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).

Merrill's combination of training, life experience in marriage, parenting and navigating life transitions bring a rounded perspective.

Merrill's approach is respectful and collaborative.  She wishes to work with compassion, recognizing strength and exploring challenges.  She works at tapping into strengths and internal wisdom as her clients work toward a more authentic and healthful life.

Merrill takes a systems approach to personal and relational challenges, helping clients to understand their particular situation within a larger framework.  She has seen many clients come to a more empowered and peaceful life space.
