The Gifted and Talented program at Pine Crest Elementary School seeks to provide increased academic challenges for children that display high levels of creativity, above average intelligence, and dedication to completing their tasks. Students involved in the program must demonstrate aptitudes of general knowledge, content-specific abilities, or above average artistic capabilities. Children are afforded opportunities to expand their learning in their areas of particular interest, as well as interact with other highly able children in social situations.
