I am an accomplished and experienced supportive psychotherapist with a wealth of experience in working with people from all backgrounds. My specialties include work with adults, adolescents and children in individual, family and couples therapy. I am a warm and down to earth professional with a dynamic and interactive approach that creates a safe, comforting environment for clients who often experience anxiety and depression in an all too stressful life. My goals are to help each client feel safe and comfortable in my pleasant office and to reduce the anxiety and distress experienced by each client while achieving short term and long term goals.

I have a Ph.D. from New York University in Clinical Social Work and a MSW from the University of Southern California. I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Molloy College and have taught graduate school at NYU and Stony Brook as well. I have served in a wide variety of capacities as a program developer and manager to clinical supervisor and director in a variety of settings throughout New York City and Long Island while my career began in California where I worked for the State and also the County of Los Angeles.
