Noreen McGratten View Specialties


Noreen is a mature, person centered, mindful counselor with extensive human service. Her education includes a Masters in Counselling, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Diploma in Nursing. She is a Registered Social Worker and a Certified member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Noreen also has completed training as a Certified Clinical Traumatologist with the Traumatology Institute in Toronto, Ontario.

Noreen's key strengths include her interest in and her love of people; the ability to build strong bonds and connect on a personal level; her ability to help individuals see their own strengths; her determination to support and empower individuals to overcome challenges; and her problem solving approach to setting realistic goals. Noreen’s goal is to provide a compassionate, respectful environment to empower those she works with to work toward personal growth and healing. She encourages clients to focus on issues that brought them to counselling and what is important to them and work toward their own goals. This helps to ensure counselling is meaningful to the individual. Noreen is open to and seeks feedback from clients about counselling sessions.

Noreen has a strong interest in energy psychology and the body-mind -spirit connection and has diplomas in Therapeutic Touch, Level 1 Reiki and Level 2 Healing Touch. Noreen plans to continue further her studies in this area as it is a special area of interest.

Noreen currently works on a regular basis with individuals experiencing:

Noreen’s past experience in the health care system includes working with individuals experiencing acute illness, chronic illness, issues related to aging, loss of independence, grief, women’s health issues, family violence and stressor harassment in the workplace employee assistance programs.

Noreen works from an office in her home in Northwest Regina and your visits are completely private and confidential. Noreen's current fee is $100.00 per hour. Many extended health packages will cover the services but you will need to confirm this with your individual insurance provider.  There are some sliding scale spaces for clients who are experiencing serious financial challenges.
