About Patricia Beller, LCSW
Patricia's  journey to becoming a psychotherapist has been an interesting one. Her drive and passion for helping others was evident from an early age. After graduating from Rutgers University with a BA in Psychology, Patricia knew that she wanted to combine her love of working with people with the business world, and she had a very successful career as a Human Resources Manager for a Fortune 500 Corporation. After returning to school to further her education, Patricia received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, and started working as a school social worker, helping adolescents and their families. Patricia then worked as a psychotherapist in a Mental Health Clinic, where she provided individual and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of diagnoses. Patricia currently has a private practice in Smithtown,  NY where she offers individual, couples and family psychotherapy.
