Patricia brings warmth, compassion and personal experience to her work helping individuals, couples and families who seek counseling in Loveland and Northern Colorado. Patricia helps with a variety of personal and relationship concerns, including affair recovery, trust issues, communication, conflict resolution, divorce, intimacy, pre-marital counseling, second marriages, blended family issues, life transitions, parenting challenges, anxiety, depression, identity issues, life coaching, sexual issues, substance abuse, trauma, abuse, and PTSD. Patricia earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Prior to that, she graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. She is a certified Prepare/Enrich provider and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education. Patricia is fluent in both Spanish and French.


Patricia works extensively with individuals and couples in Loveland and Northern Colorado. Every person is different and Patricia respectfully tailors her approach to the needs of each individual seeking therapy. She uses a variety of trusted techniques in her work, incorporating strategic and structural functionalism, family stress, intergenerational, and biopsychosocial theories. She also includes interpersonal neurobiology and Structural and Bowenian techniques. She establishes a safe place for her clients to begin to trust themselves and explore their innermost feelings and thoughts.

The therapeutic relationship is collaborative and a powerful facilitator of change. Counseling establishes a safe place so that you may explore your feelings and thoughts, and begin the process of trusting yourself. Patricia believes integrity, trust, safety, patience, and love are the most important components of the client-counselor relationship.
