Paul E. Spector is a distinguished professor of industrial/organizational psychology at the University of South Florida. For more than 35 years he has been studying the impact of adverse work conditions on employee behavior, health, and well-being. His recent work has been on job stress and its impact on employees, and on the effects that stressful job conditions have on people. Physical and nonphysical workplace violence is a particular interest from the perspective of the perpetrators and targets.
