Personal Statement

To witness growth, to see change, to see someone experience a healthier lifestyle, to walk with someone through a difficult period in life are but a few of the reasons that I wanted to become a therapist. I am honored when I have the privilege to join with a client in that journey. Call or email me so that we can begin that journey today.

It is my philosophy that whatever your struggle it probably didn't begin today; it is a struggle that you can probably trace back many years maybe even back to your childhood. As a result, there are no magic bullets or words, potions or spells, or quick over-night solutions. Growth, change, and a healthier life will take time, work, and perseverance on your part. Since my therapeutic orientation is Solution Focused, it will be my goal to provide the support, guidance, and tools to aid you in achieving the goal(s) that you will determine, they will not be my goals for you.

I am not a cookie cutter therapist. I attempt to individualize therapy to the very specific needs of each client. Typically, I incorporate therapeutic methodologies from; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfullness Therapy to name a few. Why not start that process today?
