When you are looking for a counselor to help you achieve optimum mental, emotional and physical health, you want to know that your best interests are always in mind… and that your individual needs matter.

You want to feel confident that you are investing your time and money wisely.

Most importantly, you want to see results… to feel different and reach your full potential.

At Bend Counseling & Biofeedback, we understand that these priorities are important to you because you are our most important priority. We are pleased to offer compassionate, personalized care with a variety of services for clients of all ages.

We believe life can be difficult and painful at times. It is during these times that we have the opportunity to learn & grow. By learning to fully experience both good times and bad, with little or no judgement, one can find themselves in a position of grace and empowerment. The heart of our mission is to help you improve your life by actualizing your greatest strengths, rather than focusing on weaknesses, to achieve healthy, long-lasting changes. We can help you find your inner resilience so you can transform your life toward meaning and health.

Our therapists offer an integrative approach to counseling that will provide you with the benefit of many perspectives. We maintain a foundation in evidence-based, effective practices. We have found that integrating mindfulness into sessions can help people heal on a deeper level. We work from a theoretical approach called Interpersonal Neurobiology. This means we look at issues through a broad lens including the client’s brain, mind, and relationships. When appropriate, we integrate Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused techniques into a Person Centered approach. We offer sessions for children, teens, adults, couples, and families.

During therapy, we address both the psychological and physiological aspects of the individual. We often use a combination of counseling, biofeedback, neurofeedback, brainspotting or EMDR to maximize results. We’ve seen these techniques help people process and heal trauma, build coping skills, get back to optimal functioning, and gain a greater understanding of why they developed specific symptoms. We utilize these approaches to address issues such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, TBI, stress, addictions, migraine headaches and insomnia. In addition, we often do Peak Performance Training with athletes.

We understand that the therapeutic relationship is central to effective healing, and we are committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental experience to our clients.
