Sandra Lugo is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. She received an Associates of Arts degree in Liberal Arts (1994), Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Psychology (1997), as well as a Master's Degree in Social Work (2001), and a Master's Degree in Science of Health Policy Management (2002), all from New York University.
Furthermore, she completed five years of post graduate education in Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Two of those years were spent at the NYU Psychoanalytic Institute (NYUPI) at NYU Medical Center. Three years were spent at The Training Institute for Mental Health.
In addition, Ms. Lugo has obtained certifications from the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW), and the Diplomat in Clinical Social Work (DCSW).
Ms. Lugo's professional experiences include services at Mental Health Centers and in private practice. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and uses both languages in her counseling or Psychoanalytic sessions.
