I consider myself to be a Lost and Found specialist. I work with adults from all walks of life helping them to find fulfilling, meaningful, emotionally uplifting lives after they have experienced loss. In particular losses experienced as a consequence of injury, or diagnosis with a chronic, life-limiting, or terminal illness.
I am particularly interested in counselling Palliative and Hospice patients, and their families. I compassionately support individuals struggling with Loss and Grief including anticipatory and complicated grief, assumptive and disenfranchised losses. I have an affinity for helping caregivers and health care professionals address Compassion Fatigue, Vicarious Trauma, and Burnout.
I work from a humanistic perspective integrating Narrative, Attachment, and Somatic Therapies with Mindfulness based strategies to assist clients in building meaningful, fulfilling lives that consider and respect their physical health concerns.
I look forward to connecting with you, and supporting you during this transformative transition in your life.
