Susan Wanjiku Wenzel; M.A in Counselling, Registered Suicide Intervention Trainer.
Susan is a private counselling practitioner and the director of Ushindi Counselling & Consulting Services (UCCS). Her services are available to people of all cultural background.

Currently holding contracts with Aurora Family Therapy Centre (University of Winnipeg) and Winnipeg Child and Family Services, providing counselling services to Immigrant & Refugee Families and also First Nation families with (WCFS).  She is also collaborating with Elmwood Community Resource Centre and Area Association (ECRCAA) to raise awareness of mental health issues in the Elmwood community.

Her therapeutic process consists of collaborating with clients to establish goals that facilitate personal and community growth. Her therapeutic experience includes working with individuals, couples, families and teens; Servicing a variety of concerns such as, various mental health illness, interpersonal issues, relationships and cross-cultural issues. Susan is a graduate of Providence Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Counselling and Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College. She was born in Kenya and immigrated to Canada in 1999 to further her studies.
