Ugo is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Arizona. He holds a Bachelor of Art in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. Ugo has over nine years of experience working with teenagers, parents, guardians and young adults.

Ugo’s approach with his clients is based on a client focused perspective. Ugo believes all clients, to include minors, know themselves better than anyone else. This approach is vital as it empowers clients to decide upon which evidence based therapeutic strategy works best for their emotional growth.

Ugo also uses a combination of Adventure Based Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help his clients achieve a more consistent healthier and happier state of mind.

Clients who experience Ugo’s unique combination of therapeutic techniques experience emotional growth. Such growths begin as clients learn and practice effective strategies to relieve themselves of unhealthy beliefs and values stemming from encounters with past or present adversities. Ugo is currently married to a woman he loves. Ugo and his wife currently have a three year old son, and are expecting their second child in the coming months.
