"Being heard, understood and supported can make the difference in how we experience life. Through individual and/or couples counseling, we will work together to improve how you think and feel about yourself, your relationship(s) and therefore, your life."

Changes in life are inevitable. Planned or not, change can often lead one to experience feelings, such as: stress, anxiety, depression, insecurity, anger and frustration. Change does not have to be 'bad' nor viewed as the enemy.  As in the quote above, it can also be viewed as an opportunity for positive growth. Together, we will improve your coping skills so that you will be better prepared to handle these self and life changes, now and in the future.

Individual and Couples Counseling

  • Issues include: Relationship Problems: Communication, Physical Intimacy, Peyronie's Disease, Caregiver Stress, sadness and anxiety, living and coping with illness, grief or loss.

I believe most issues can be resolved with Short Term or Brief Therapy. My Theoretical frameworks include: Cognitive - Emotive -Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Counseling, People Centered and Solution Focused .

However, one theory does not fit all, therefore, I will help you determine what approach works best for you so that we will meet your therapeutic goals, in the shortest amount of time possible.

Fees are based on 50 min. or 60 min. sessions, (individual versus couples/families). Phone and video sessions are also available, especially for those who travel and cannot always make it into the office for their session.
* I also publish a blog titled: Positive Adaptation for reading in between sessions or just a gentle reminder of how great life and love can be!
