Hello, I'm Weston Crafton, MMFT.  My practice is focused on helping you realize your best hopes!  What will be different in your life when you are on the right track?  How will your relationship be different? What difference will that make in your life?  Are you ready to begin the journey toward change? I am here to support you in Discovering Solutions.  My therapeutic model is based in a time-limited, solution-oriented approach. This means counseling begins with the end in mind. You enter counseling to help you achieve an outcome. So, I work hard to understand the track you are on, and then come alongside you by offering empirically-validated and proven psychological tools and strategies to help you reach your goals.

As a graduate of Northcentral University specializing in marriage and family therapy, I focus on helping you address challenges from a systemic perspective. This means I view problems in the context of the relationships in your life. I focused my Masters Degree capstone project on Solution-Focused Brief Couples Therapy and identifying ways to help couples in distress move toward solutions. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy.
My style is to facilitate a collaborative, no-judgment atmosphere where clients can feel safe to wrestle with their inner thoughts and feelings. I believe in seeing problems as problems, rather than people as problems. In session it is my goal to reduce the level of discomfort and anxiety and create a peaceful and calm space for you to see your problems as separate from you. This calm space helps you to observe problems for what they are and to think about how to respond in an intentional manner.  Instead of a flight or fight response to problems, I want to help you live out your values each moment of your life.  Relationship peace is possible when you commit to internal and external growth.  It is your decision on what to do in your life.  It is my job to help you discover possibilities, using proven therapy models as our guide, and to brainstorm an action plan to move forward. Once you decide on your pathway forward, I will help you along the way toward realizing change based on my knowledge of the specific therapy approach we are using as a guide.
Please see below for more details about me.  If you are ready to move forward with a session, please reach out to me to discuss specifics. I look forward to hearing from you and getting the chance to partner together on working toward your life and relationship goals!
Thanks for your time!
